Make sure your team fundraising page is ready to go!

  • Set your fundraising goal
  • Personalize your team story
  • Add team members
  • Make a self-donation


Bonus Challenge: Share your team page on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn and encourage friends and family to support your team.

Tuesday, August 4th, 2026 - Day 2: Recruit Walkers Challenge

The team with the most walkers registered by the end of Team Week will receive a personalized Team Banner! 

Why should walkers pre-register?

  • Faster and easier check-in on Walk Day
  • Helps event staff plan for food, supplies, and activities
  • Ensures participants receive important event updates
  • Gives your team credit toward recruitment challenges
  • Helps us better serve ALS families by planning accurately

Wednesday, August 5th, 2026 - Day 3: Move for ALS Challenge

Download the Walk App and start tracking your activities!

  • Exercising

Every activity helps build excitement leading up to Walk Day.

Prize: The team with the most tracked activities will win a swag bag! Team captains can share screenshots of their app/activity from their team with events@alsunitedri.org

Thursday, August 6th, 2026 - Day 4: Share Your ALS Why

Tell your story.

Post a photo, video, or message about why you walk and what ALS means to you. Personal stories inspire others to get involved and support our mission.

Use our event hashtags & tag us in your post!

We can also feature your post on our social media channels to help share your story with the broader community!

Friday, August 7th, 2026 - Day 5: Fundraising Friday

Challenge your team members to:

  • Make a self-donation
  • Ask three friends to donate
  • Share their personal fundraising page
  • Thank donors publicly

The team with that raises $1,000 or more during Team Week will receive Team Yard Sign that will be displayed at the Walk.
