Rhode Islanders Walking Together to End ALS
Walk ALS Rhode Island brings together families, friends, teams, and community members for a powerful day of unity, hope, and impact. For more than 35 years, ALS Rhode Island has provided essential care services, multidisciplinary clinic support, and education to individuals and families affected by ALS—and every step taken helps sustain that vital work. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that robs people of the ability to walk, speak, and breathe, affecting not only individuals, but entire families. This walk is an opportunity for everyone—patients, caregivers, advocates, businesses, and community members—to honor loved ones, raise awareness, and stand with those living with ALS.
Throughout the campaign, walkers form teams, share stories, and fundraise leading up to walk day, building momentum and community along the way. It’s more than a walk—it’s a collective movement fueled by compassion and determination to make a difference right here in Rhode Island. Together, we walk to support families today and to help create a future without ALS.
