The ALS Rhode Island Impact Council is proud to walk in support of individuals and families facing ALS in our community.
 

ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, gradually taking away the ability to move, speak, eat, and breathe. While there is currently no cure, support and care make a critical difference in quality of life.
 

As a dynamic group of young professionals, the Impact Council is committed to raising awareness, funding essential programs, and building the next generation of leaders in the fight against ALS. ALS Rhode Island provides direct services to local families—at no cost—including equipment, education, and hands-on support when it’s needed most.
